showingupSuccess is a topic that is highly discussed in business and in life.  The purpose of these publications is to give insight to young and upcoming dentists that may be interested in either joining, partnering, or owning a practice.  There is an abundance for one to learn before venturing out.  The two steps discussed in this article are 1) showing up and 2) staying.

Our first step is to show up.  When I say “show up”, this does not mean to physically show up.  (However, that is also very important!) To show up means to put your all into the job, to give the very best of yourself.  When one hundred percent effort is given, your outcome will prove to be more desirable.

The next step is to stay.  Most employers desire a staff member that will stick around during the good and bad.  When the ship is going down, the easy way out would be to bail.  However, good things come to those who work for it.  Business will not always be easy, but in the end, it will always be worth it.

Following these steps, success is bound to follow.  To succeed, you must first try.  There are many steps, decisions, and problems that will make their presence known along the way. Prior to conquering the little problems, you must first show up.
